Default Binding

I recently purchased the Apprentice 15 E RTF. I have read the instructions for binding, but Ido not quite understand. I may be missing an iten. The things that came with the plane was the battery, DX53 transmitter and a 12 volt charger w, battery clamps. The motor, servos and receiver were all preinstalled. My intent was to leave the wings off and practice taxion the driveway. Rudder. elevator nor throttle respond to input. Am I missing a part? Obviously I am a newbie and I need help. Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.</p>

To bind the TX to he RX you use the bind plug in the channel marked bind on the RX. You then turn on the TX holding the bind button on the back of the TX and then plug in your battery to the RX. When the orange light stops blinking pull the bind plug and battery out of the RX then turn off the TX. You may want to RTFM. Also get some help learning to fly or your plane will be a pile of foam dust.

OK, I see the bind/batt port on thr RX. What am I supposed to plug into it. The only leads coming off the preinstalled RXbattery are 1 for the main battery, and 1 that is pluged into the thro (whatever than means) port of the RX. Where do I pick up something to plug into the bind/batt port?
Then, after I get that resolved, you are saying to turn on the TX, pull and hold the bind lever and then plug in the main battery? That's kinda hard to do with only 2 hands don't you think?
What is RTFM? Also, I am joining a club with 2 qualified instructors.

RTFM? Read The Effing Manual. Get your clubmates to demonstrate the process for you. Thro = Throttle.

you should have gotten a bind plug with your radio, it plugs into the bind/ batt port, then plug the battery into another port, then while holding the trainer switch on, turn the radio on, or go buy a airtronics or futaba

OK. Now i know I am missing a part. A bind plug. I just went to utube and zoomed in on the part. It looks to be a plug with a short little orange wire on it. I assume this is an antennae. I'll see if I can get one at the LHS.Thank you.

If you have a spare servo lead hanging around you can make one up,, all it does is short the signal and the ground wires together
