Iron Bay Models
Yeah I know there have been a few discussions on these guys but I have been away for some time now and need an update.
I recently purchased an older AT-6 kit still in box (Byron) and its is missing a couple bags of supplies and wood. Does Iron Bay still exist?
Does anyone have any info or parts available. I got the kit pretty cheap and can probably buy the non specialized parts seperate from the hobby store but would like to make sure I get things I need and not have to "make" some parts.
Thanks in advance for the info....
The phone number for Iron Bay has been "busy" the last 3 days.....

RE: Iron Bay Models
I just sold a Byron AT-6 to a friend. The kit was missing a couple of the plywood wing ribs. He contacted Iron Bay by email and he was able to get the parts. I contacted them by email for a replacement canopy for my T-28 and received a prompt reply. Keep in mind the Iron Bay hobby line is a sideline to the primary business. Be patient and they will get back to you.

Thanks for the input. I have emailed them twice now and have tried not to be pushy or smart*****ed about it.
I'll wait for a reply. Thanks again!

RE: Iron Bay Models
Phone still busy today. Must be disconnected or something.
No email. It isn't bouncing, but no return message doesn't look good.
You would think there is someone checking them every other day and would at least send a nice little "we will reply soon" message to me. I mean, fluff me a bit or something.
Anyone have another number to these guys rather than just the one on their website?

I have been waiting since April for a small plastic part for the landing gear. They sent two wrong pieces and haven't responded to emails for over a month. Phone still busy.
