Default elevon settings

Hello. I am having issues setting up an electric jet which I just purchased. I'm trying to set up the elevons. I set elevons for channel 1 and 2. I have also tried reversing the servos between 1 and 2. I'm trying on two different futaba radios the T6EXAP and the T8UAP. I have set it up for elevons, but when I move my stick up and down, the elevons move in opposite direction and when I move my stick left to right, the elevons move in the same direction, somehow being backwards. Does anybody know why this is happening? I've checked with a few people in the club, and they don't have an answer for me. I bet it's something simple and stupid.

If you have truly enabled the elevon mix on your radios (note: I am not a Futaba user) then you need to swap the servo imputs in the rx. Swap the ports you plug each servo into.

Most systems are sensitive to this. Sorry I cannot speak for the enabling procedure for those radios.

Have faith, there is a combination that will work. Try switching the ports you have them plugged into. Try reversing one or both servos. There will be one combination of these changes that will get every thing working in the correct direction. Different brands of servos rotate in opposite directions and the control horns can be on either the upper side of the elevons or the lower side so there is no way you can print directions that will work in all cases, it is just a matter of trial and error to get them set up correctly.
