Default Starting a pusher prop engine

I am just finishing up on a plan built pusher plane. My question is when starting, is it the standard counter clockwise rotation or is it started clockwise. Thanks for all input.

For anything larger than a reed .049 your engine should turn counterclockwise. That's why they make pusher propellers. They still turn in the proper direction but they push air toward you when you're in front of the engine.

The engine has no idea which way it's mounted so it turns CCW.

Hey jetmech05! Don't push it! I know you're pulling my leg.

(sorry)

Hi TOMGREEN
I flew a pusher canard with a .46 engine and learned that the engine would overheat on the ground. In the air it was OK. Keep that in mind.
