os 52 pulls my smith mini around. I feel it's the perfect motor for the job. Anything bigger would be over kill. But keep in mind that I'm not known for outragiously overpowering my planes.

Never had a fourstroker on mine had one of those Thundertigers on mine and it would snap in a heart beat. And would do anything else I could think of for a pilot of my skill.
I actually built six of the little planes and they all flew just fine with what ever you could put on them But I realy prefer the Theundertiger over all others.

I am putting a RCV 60 in mine. The mini is not complete yet. I do believe it will be an interesting maiden flight. The RCV 60 will turn a 16x12 prop. I have a 13.5x13.5 three blade prop for my mini.

I used the saito .56 w/ 11-7 APC. The only thing the airplane won't do is torque roll. I'm convinced that is only because of the altitude here; 5,280 ft. plus!! It does hover. I think the .65 would be better. You'll LOVE it!!!!
