Field Box Equipment
Hello everyone,
I need to replace my field box and all the equipment, tools, etc. I'm trying to get ideas for the box itself, and everything to go in it.
I was thinking about trying to keep it as light as possible. Maybe eliminate the 12 volt starter battery by getting a hand fuel pump and one of the starters with the batteries attached to it. If anyone has comments about what they are using, or what they would stay away from, let me know. Also other tools you have in your box
Thanks.

That is exactly what I did. I have a cordless glow starter, and a manual hand pump (just be sure you get a sturdy hand pump, they break easily) I have a fairly large field box already, and there is definatly no room for a powerpanel or battery. I've been flying like this for years and am very happy how it has worked out.

I chucked my monster "everything in it" monstrosity field motel...for a lightweight bare essential box a couple years ago. I love it, and it takes care of 98% of what I need to adjust/fix at the field. Hand pump and remote glo driver work just fine.
