Default Comparision IC to Electric.

Has anybody any data which compares the power/ability of an Electric Motor with a IC Engine for Planes from 36"up to 90" wing span.

It is hard to answer your question without specifying a whole range of variables. How can you compare hundreds of electric motors with thousands of battery-pack and gearing combinations against hundreds of piston engines. What question are you really concerned about? If you are wondering if high performance electric planes exist just keep in mind that if you have the money, you can buy any amount of electric power you want.
