Has anyone used the J&B Access Panel for servos?
If so, how are they?
Did they satisfy your needs for a wing or fusealge mounted servo?
Good quality?
Thanks in advance!

I've never used them, but some people seem to like them. I've seen a thread or two discussing these panels before. I just make my own. It's a lot less expensive.

OK Thanks for the replies. I was going to make my own but found their website and thought it might be less hassle buying them.
So if you were to give a few hints on the construction of an access panel what would you tell someone? Any photos? What type of material for the base, ply? What kinda of support for strength?

I was thinking about buying some of these, but then got ambitious one day and built my own. The access panels are so easy to build that I can't see buying them. I built and installed mine in maybe 1 and 1/2 hours. At less than 1/2 the cost, the homebuilt ones work great and look good as well.

Usually a couple small hardwood rails, a piece of plywood, and four wood screws is about all that is needed for a hatch.
