Set your plane on its gear in a "flying" atitude and measure from the prop hub to the ground. Give yourself at least 1-1/2 inches of prop clearance. I use a 14-6 Ma prop on my .65 Saito, it has the power, but that might not give you the clearance you need. A 12 or 13 incher is probably the best overall sizes.

Hi!
A 12x7, 13x6 or a 14x4W, 14x5N APC
Avoid all black MA props like the plague!

Regards!

Why? They're all I use, from 10 inch to 18 inch, never broke one, and my planes fly fine. Sure they flex a little, maybe more than the APC, but still a great prop.

To jaka,
That is a bit strong to not use a Black MA with a Saito 65! I have had a Saito 65 with a Black (or dark Gray) MA Scimitar prop,(12X6)AstroHog forabout 10 years + or - 2yr. Not one single problem ever. The Hog is set up as a taildragger.
