Does anyone have the CG range for a Tiger 2? I purchased a used Tiger 2 at my local HS and did not get the manual with it. I converted it to a tail dragger and added a pilot. Should have checked the CG before I started.
Thanks,

My Tiger2 ARF manual says "...measure back on the fuselage 3-7/8" from the leading edge of the wing. The CG range for this aircraft is 3-1/2 to 4-3/8"."

The Goldberg web site has this information.

I think you can download a manual for the kit, too. Not sureif there is any charge for the manual.

Interesting thread, considering that I flew one of these for the first time today.
I was standing next to one of the club's oldtimers when he took off with his just-built Tiger 2. As soon as it got airborne I could tell he was in big trouble. Somehow he got a little altitude and then it started diving. He quickly handed the radio to me, and said, "Here kid (I'm 58), can you save this?" Somehow I got it back on the ground in one piece.
He swears that he has the CG at 4" and, since he's built 98 kits (two for me), I'm sure that's exactly where the CG is. Engine looks like a Saito 56 - 65 but I was shaking too much to ask him.
I dunno. Did Goldberg get the CG wrong?

Thanks,
A lot of good info here. I'm on business in Atlanta, but will be home tomorrow. Already downloaded the manual (Siefring, thanks for the link). I plan to go by the house, make any needed adjustments and head to the field. I will let ya'll know how it turns out.
