G'day Mate,
I think they rely on the owners experience level to decide on the amount of throw, they are not beginners planes,
I would go for 1/2" aileron & elevator throw, & if it looks too much have your low rate set at 70% of that.

hi there guys i found that with my quest 50 my low rates is about 1/2 to 9/16" and hi rate is about 1 1/4 on the wing and elevator but rudder is much more, she flys great but when on take off she just holds the ground so i have to add my flaps to get her up. Flying she is awsome, knife edges, snap rolls, and hovering was great. flat and lever flight was fast and smooth. My quest50 is powered with a ys fz63 supercharged four stroke swinging a 11x8 prop, (hs 425bb)servos ,5 cell 2500 mah battery and hitec reciever and radio. I`ve flown mine for about three weeks and been very happy everytime, but i did have a crash with it this past week and and with alittle ply and epoxy shes all better and still flys the same, here are some pics of her before and after the crash.if you have any questions about it let me know?
