Are digital servos faster then analog
Guy, I just read up in the April 2007 issue of Model Aviation and they had an artical in there about servos written by dave patrick. I have a question that i cannot figuer out. He states in there that analog servos are faster then digital. Is this true? I have a Venus II with high end futaba digitals in it and they seem so much faster then my analogs. If they are slower then analog then why do we by them. I use them because they center great for pattern. Maybe somebody can clear this issue up for me.

BarracudaHockey is correct! Here is the "Gigantic Servo Chart" to prove it:

I use digitals because of their awesome holding power. I dread the high current drain. But, you have to take the good with the bad!

so... if you have an analog rated at .13 sec and a digital rated at .13 second...which one is faster?
