Default Engine help

I just Bought a Saito 125 for my Showtime and have tried to start the engine but the exaust seems to be coming from the carrburator hole instead of muffler. Any suggetions?

did you buy new or used.most larger 4 strokes are started by turning the prop counter clockwise till compression is felt then hook up the glo driver and a quick flip counter clockwise and it should backfire and start running in the correct direction.If you bought the engine used,the valve timing may be messed up.

Sounds like your intake valve is to tight or not closing fully.

I bought it new. thanks for the help I'll have to do some tinkering with it. I have all the time in the world sine out clubs leased land was just sold and we now have no where to fly.

if you bought it new and it is not right return it and have it fixed under warranty
