Judging from the general configuration of the fuse, wing design, tail feathers, and trike gear arrangement. Plus the fact that i am assuming the fuel tank cover would be the windshield on the plane. It resembles the old H-RAY,40 size model.

Good Flying

I`m pretty sure , what you have there , is a Red and Yellow highwing rc airplane , but I`ve been wrong before.

Sig Kommander. Out of production, but has the reputation of a good flyer.

Yep, its a Kommander. I got one in the box. The picture on the box is red and yellow also, I guess everyone paints them to match the box. There is suppose to be a canopy sitting half way on the leading edge and half way on the fuselage. Great flying airplane!!!!

BTW: I have an after market fiberglass cowl for mine, I just bought it a couple of years ago. So, I'm pretty sure you can still get them.

I have no pictures or plane.

However do a forum search for kommander and I'm sure you'll turn up a few

I had a Sig Kommander circa 1983/84. It was given to me as a gift. The previous owner had already built it. It turned out a bit heavier than he liked so he asked me if I wanted it. I put in an OS 40FSR and it flew nicely. It was my second plane after a three-channel job. I just loved flying it! Then one day I took off and for some reason it felt nose-heavy. I asked the person beside me (the plane's previous owner) to give me some up trim because I didn't want to let go of the stick. But it only grew worse. I asked for more trim, but nothing helped. I was holding 3/4 up stick and it still would barely hold altitude. On the landing attempt, the elevator lost effectiveness as the plane slowed. It plowed nose-down into the runway and that was the end of my Kommander. Then I looked down at the transmitter. Only then did I realize my companion had put in "down" instead of "up" trim. Ouch!

But yeah, it was a nice plane and I still have fond memories of it...
