Default Transmitter Case

Now that i have my field box,I need a case for my Futaba 9c.Does anyone have any suggestions.I would like something just big enough for 1 Transmitter with cushioning around it of course. I saw a plastic case at the Hobby shop for $5.00 but i think i would like something a little nicer. This Transmitter is nice! and i would like to keep it that way
THANKS.

Go to Home Depo, Lowes, Menards and look for the aluminum tool box. They're about $20 and come with perforated foam so you can easily make the foam fit your xmitter.

Our Wal-Mart doesn't carry pistol cases and I didn't feel like driving the hour to Home Depot. I did find a nice pistol case at Cabelas for less than ten bucks. Lots of foam and big enough for two transmitters. Works well for me.

The pistol cases I have used are plastic.

Sam's and Wal-Mart usually have an aluminum tool/instrument case for $20-$25 that is the same as the JR or Futaba cases less the name painted on the top. Mine holds 2 transmitters, tach, digital camera, glow starter easily.

Wal-Mart considers the pistol case a seasonal item.
Check during hunting season.

You could try one of these:-

- fairly expensive, but really good.

There are two versions - single and double size.

If you have a Harbor freight close by they frequently have this one on sale at the cost of $14.00.

The inters are removable the tool holder on the lid can be removed, used to store props, hanging on the wall. You can use foam rubber for cushioning
