Default Need to replace pushrods and arms

I just bought a Lanier Ultimate Bipe and I am in the process of upgrading the servos. One thing I noticed is that on the elevator especially, there is too much play between the pushrod and the control arm. Right now there are dubro style double threaded rods and metal arms. The play seems to be primarily coming from the connection of the control arm hole and pushrod pin.

Should I just replace with the same type hardware or is there anything better?

If the hole in the horn is overly large for the connector either switch to the next size larger or dimple the control horn (you did say metal?) with four shots of a centerpunch at four points around but near the edge of the hole. That will tighten it up for a while.
