Default what is the smallest?

What is the smallest glow powered (rc) airplane out there. Looking for at least a three channeled one.

If you are just starting out in RC, this is not the way to go. It requires much more attention to keep the all up weight low enough to get a good flying airplane when it is small. While a plane 40 size would be a real floater with an 18 ounce/sq. ft. loading, a small plane with that wing loading becomes a lead sled, you need to get the wing loading down to under 10 ounce/sq. ft. or less. If you are serious, check out some of the plans in RCM (they still sell plans) or check out some of the adds in current model magazines for plans. Flying Models magazine often has such adds and specialize in the smaller planes. Also, check with your local hobby shop, they usually have some of the smaller size kits.

A small RC Plane that will do big things is the Lanier Stinger - 10 size!

Long, long time ago, a friend built and flew Gillows models converted to RC. Power was a .020 and they had micro servos. They were very nice. IT takes quite a bit of skill to build and fly the real little ones.

Three channels micro plane. 1/72nd scale Eindecker, around 5 inch span, 2.5g total weight. 4x8 pager 30 ohms, 4:1 gear, 1.6" prop, 10mah Koichi lithium polymer cell muscle wire dual actuator, full flying elevator and rudder. Construction is milled down depron, no skins, thickness from .016" to .020". Coloring is all Tamiya acrylic with airbrush. Aluminum tubes for landing gear and tail skid frames, made from 1mil aluminum, rolled and seemed. Full dummy 9 cylinder engine that rotates with prop.

These guys specialise in small stuff http://www.aeronutz.flyer.co.uk/

Any time I feel pride in my building ability I think about these guys and humbleness returns.
