How do you guys and maybe gals store you planes??? They are starting to take over my apartment. I have a spare hobby room too. Just some ways you guys use that won't cost me a arm and leg. Girlfriends orders. Thank you. Eric

Cheapest way to gain more room would be to dump the girlfriend.
Barring that, I used to store my models behind furniture, in corners, etc. A friend hangs them from the ceiling in his bedroom.
Good luck with this. There's no easy answer.

That's what I am talking about more like that please. Nice job keeps them out of the way and you don't have to worry about stepping on them. Thanks. Eric

I have a rack attached to the wall. I made mine with the 12" metal arms and track that the arms slot into. The arms are covered in pipe insulation to protect the plane. You can set up 2 separate racks (one for fuselages and one for wings ) or just put the fuselage under/over the wing on the rack.
This is a quick and easy install and relatively inexpensive. Everything you need is available at an Ace or True Value hardware store. Lowes and Home depot should also have the stuff.

I recently made this rack. Just 2x4's, pvc pipe, pipe clamps and some foam pipe insulation. It's on casters to make it easy to spin around. The yellow Katana on the bottom is about 25% size and the Ultimate on the back is a .40 size. Total price was about $30, less if you have some of the material laying around.

Hey pub,
What YOU need is:
Grammer lessons, spelling lessons, a life, common courtesy, common sense, a frontal lobodomy, some time on the couch with a good shrink, some good mental health meds, perhaps some deodorant.
What you need pal, is HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure hope that not all people from PA are *******s like you....
I suspect most are not, but I sure wish this forum and others like it would get rid of pisses like you...

I have four planes hanging on the ceiling in my home office... and a few more will take there place there in the next few months.

If you are worried about rope cutting into your plane, wrap some t-shirt scraps around the rope and secure it with dental floss or the like.
