I have a Flip 3d that I am getting ready to test fly. I bought it already assembled. On the way home, the metal wing bolts vibrated loose just riding in the back of my truck. I did not have the wing in, just the bolts through the blind nuts. I know with the wing on, it would stop some of the rotation in the bolts, but would I be better off with nylon bolts instead of metal? I am not worried about them shearing off, because its a 3d plane and would be a wreck way beyond repair before the nylon sheared. I just wonder what would hold the wing on best.

Depends how big the nylon bolt is remember that the balsa /lite ply around it isn't that strong either ...
if you want to keep the metal bolt on you can always use the ca trick....
Take your bolt and the blind nut it will screw into and put a small drop of THIN ca on the threads screw the bolt in and out for a few minutes until the ca is hard put one more drop on repeat as needed make sure you keep turning the bolt /screw in and out of the blind nut so it doesn't glue there your only trying to get glue in the threads this will cause the bolts to have a 'tight' feel kind of like screwing into nylon where there is some resistance to get them to start to turn.. to them and they wont vibrate loose.

Id stay with metal, you can do CA trick or smother in blue loctite maybe, I put bolts in the wing and secure there with a peice of foam, packing it, thats jsut me I guess.

Yes, nylon is preferred and more than strong enough. In most cases an 8X32 nylon will suffice. I get by fine with 10X32 in my big 1/4 scale and larger with never a failure in some 25 years.
