Is there blank decal material that I can use my computer to create the designs, letters etc. and have my printer print the output to a deal sheet. If available, where do I get it? Thanks.

The guys to ask are the vintage R/C car enthusiasts. They have experience reproducing the decals for long-since discontinued cars when undertaking a restoration. I know I bought some reproduction decals on Ebay for an old Kyosho Vanning I restored from RCU member Marwankw. He knows how to make decals, and even reproduction parts. Maybe send him a PM? Check out www.tamiyaclub.com under the "Vintage" discussions.

Tower Hobbies sells a couple different decal film sets. I used the laser decal film set with good success on my new Aeromaster. Just the word Aeromaster and the fin numbers. Paint is Rust-Oleum. I sprayed clear Rust-Oleum over decals to fuel proof them. Rust-Oleum must cure at least 2 weeks before exposing to fuel.

From: Center of the Flyover States,
I've used MicroMark Laser paper after loading pictures (jpgs) and wording onto a Microsoft.word document. THen with it on a flash drive, I go to a print shop to have them print using their computer and color laser printer. But lately I have been getting resistance (won't use my paper, won't use any other paper than their captive brand (Xerox), don't have Microsoft Office on their computer so their genaric software scrambles up the word-art ,etc. Once one shop wanted $10 to print 1-2 pages using my own decal paper!![:@]
Now I'm wondering if I should just try some ink-jet paper on my own printer and pay $$ for color ink cartridges.[

Tommygun, I thought I answered your question but don't see it here, so here it is again.
I started painting the Aeromaster with Rust-Oleum before I read posts by some people who said it is not fuel proof. So I tested with raw 5% nitro fuel and saw no problem. I did let it cure for about 4 weeks before testing. I have flown the Aeromaster 3 times now (3 different days) and so far there is no effect on the rust-oleum paint. I did clean it well after each flight. About the only place the exhust gets on the model is on the right stab. Also I get raw fuel in the engine compartment because of the inverted 4 stroke carb.
I will post here after a few weeks of flying to let you know if the rust-oleum is holding up. I don't know if you can spray clear rust-oleum over dope or not.
Talk to you later,

http://www.beldecal.com/ has waterslide decal paper for both inkjet and laser printers. It is available in clear and white (remember, printers do not print white).
Scan what you want into the computer, import it into a word processor and size it accordingly. Do a print on regular paper to make sure everything is correct, then print on the decal paper. Let the decal dry for about 20 minutes, then CLEAR COAT the decal. AFTER THE CLEAR COAT HAS DRIED, CUT THE DECAL OUT. The clear coat prevents the ink from running while you wet the decal.
The inkjet paper costs ABOUT $1.00 per 8x11 sheet.
