Default A waterproof need!!!!

Hello guys;
My friend is looking for a electric waterproof system to power his new "flying invention"; a kind of ekranoplane or so...
The need is: a water proof motor-EC-battery pack. Is there anything over there that we can get? I'm sure there is but I'm not "electric" flyier so i don't know what to tell him... poor guy.
Thanks on advance
Guille

I asked my friend for more presicion describing the thing: It's a flat bottom boat powered by a air engine, the tipycal we use for planes. I undertand clearly the water often can go to the motor... We all know what happens when a Lipo goes on short circuit...

Something like this? Should be easy enough to create a waterproof hatch and put a "cone" type device in front of the motor to deflect water.

Use brushless and put all the electric in a water proof compartment like the boat guys do.

Cheers

Ghost is absolutely correct. The brushless motors aren't hurt by water entry, there are no uninsulated or switching connections in them. Keep the rest of the electronics safe, and the motor will be fine. RTV sealant makes great re-useable form fitted silicone gaskets for hatches, and vasoline on those seals will keep water out really good. Clear tape does well for smaller penetrations.

Be sure there's a way to cool the ESC. Most larger boats use water cooled ESC's.

It was a fast-heavy transport... there was a model capable of carrying about 500 ton of payload at 400 km/h; no need of runway, low radar signal. Another model was equiped with massive missiles as uesad in ships, so you had there a "ship firepower" with a "plane perfomance"; not bad, isn't it?
Watch for "LUNA Ekranoplane"; I think it was the only one in service...
