Default Hinge Centering

After having a CA hinge break I replaced my elevator hinges with small Robart Hinge Points. The surfaces were already beveled, so centering was difficult. I dry fitted the hinges and alignment was perfect. After gluing them in I found one elevator half to be hinged ever so slightly below dead center on one side. [:@][:@]

Is this going to effect flight characteristics? It's bugging the heck out of me. I'm considering dremeling those hinges apart, sanding flush, and reinstalling some others beside the old ones. What would you do?

Thanks!

Probably nothing you can't trim out. the little tool gizmo that Robart sells to center the hinge points is worth it's weight in whatever commodity suits you. I'd say gold, but lately gas is worth more.

I wouldn't worry about it either.

And ditto on the Robart centering tool. It's worth its weight in gold!
