New to this hobby so please bear with me.
Bought plane and field box at a second hand store last winter.
Any idea what model it is? Roughly 49" wing span 31" nose to tail.
I am thinking of converting it from gas to electric. How hard is this?
What is easier to learn with gas or electric?
Thanks

barn,
it looks to be a sig rascal and if it is that size was an electric plane to start with. here is a link to it and the suggested items. = http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZL41&P=0
but they show using a 400 brushed motor i would use a brushless motor in it. from what ive heard they are good flying planes just cant handle alot of wind. hope this helps.

That's a Sig Rascal. It comes as a ready t ofly as either a fule or electric, sounds like you have the fuel. I bought mine as a kit and use an AXI 2212/26 with 3S lipos in it and it flies great. It should be pretty easy to convert, the hardest part is figuring out the motor mount.
