I have a Sanyo reciever battery that came with a plane I purchased. It is a 4 cell square pack (each cell is round). Each cell has the following information. 1300mAH, 1.2v, nickel cadium, KR1300
I am assuming that this is a 4.8 volt battery. Can I assume it is 5200 mah or is it a 1300mah?
Thanks for the help,

I'm pretty sure that you're looking at 5200 mAH. IF the battery is connected in series, then the voltage and the mAH should both be the sum of the cells, I believe.
A great article on batteries can be found here:

I would say it is a 1300 mAh, 4.8 volt NiCd battery.

G'day Mate,
You are Right on the money. Definately 1300Mah 4.8volts.
The voltage counts in series but the capacity does not, so 1.2 volts x 4 = 4.8volts @ 1300Mah.
