I have a bunch of old different titled rc magazines in storage and they all have great articles on building tips, constructions, and reviews. I need a computer program that when you type in a subject, (engine tuning, Ugly Stick review, Speed 400 airplane construction, etc..) it will let you know what magazine, the location of the magazine, (example: Box #10 under my bed) and even the page number to find that particular subject. Basically I want to create a library for my magazines.
Any ideas on where I can find, or how I can create such a program?

What you are looking to design is a database. Microsoft Access is this type of program. There is a steep learning curve to it, though.
You might find free database programs online, such as 'Open Office', but I have no experience with them.

LongRC,
I doubt you will find all of the info already in a database.
That means you will need to spend a lot of time doing data entry (boring).
Or pay someone to do it.
What I do with my magazines when there is an article worth saving (rarely)
is to scan the article into my computer. Give it a good name so you can find it later.
Then I donate my magazines to the local hospital.
It is now easier to find the articles, you have freed up a lot of storage space and
you may have introduced some new people to the hobby.
Good Luck,
