Default Where to install Perry Pump on Engine?

Where is the best spot todrill and tap for thepressure fitting on an engine for the perry pump (glow fuel)? In the center of the back of the crank case? Using Supertigre 40/45.

Thanks ahead of time.

Just make sure you file off any part of the nipple sticking thru your backplate. Most crankshaft/connecting rods rotate against or near the back plate. You don't want the nipple interfering with the engine rotation. I'd put it in the backplate. Less damage to engine when you decide the pump is not working the way you thought and then have to plug the hole.

Kinda off topic but would it be possible to use the pressure tap that is on the muffler for the Perry pump?
