RE: 2010 CORKS Sky Dive Rally
This all sounds like too much fun, Fannin and I want in.....
We are thinking we should have the all out serious competition for Points on Saturday, hand out trophies and prizes Sunday Morning.
Mass Drop on Sunday and then the HALO drop after that. If we do the HALO on Saturday there might not be an event after that...
What do you guy's think?

Okay guy's sanction paper work is all turned in; my CD license has been sent to me, and the flyer information is being gathered to begin developing it. We have several different sponsers this year for prizes and donations. R/C Skydiving.com, Kirby's Kustom Vinyl Graphics and TNT Landing Gear. I have a local hobby shop that might do something and waiting word from one other source. Things are looking good and coming together. I will keep you all informed and let you know when the registration forms are completed. I sure hope everyone can make it. We hope to make this one bigger and better than last years.

Mike,
Good to know that things are coming along. You must absolutely and positively use orange paint for the circle. See page two post number 34 of this thread. The Hooter orange shorts Orange is the exact shade of color to use. In one of the previous posts Jules also stated that the circle MUST be orange in color. If you need me to make a contribution to help defray the cost of the paint I will be happy to do so. If Hooter Girl shorts orange paint isn't available in your area I will bring some with me. Yours in comradeship.
Juan

Great to hear from you two, Juan, you had been awefully quiet up there we were wondering what was up. What are you schemeing over there in WA?
How about we have some HOOTER Girls work the circle and load just your jumpers, would that work? LOL We end up having a bunch of Hooter girls there the event would probably be bigger than Joe Nall and no jumping would ever get done.

HOOTER girls, that is a great idea!!! They could bring a libation and fan me with palm fronds in between jumps. Having them work the circle and load Little Juan would be frosting on the cake. It still doesn't change anything the circle still had to be painted HOOTER orange shorts ORANGE.
I wasn't schemeing anything. I spent a month or so down in Yuma, AZ. Got in a bunch of jumps. Little Juan even got to participate in the Yuma Aeromodelers annual air show. He was on the front page of the Yuma Sun newspaper and appeared on TV. He hasn't let fame and stardom go to his head and will always be the same humble, modest and unassuming jumper he has always been. LOL
See you all in July.
Juan

Hey Juan,
Looks like you really got Little Juan dialed in there.....
With him being a movie star now, we may have to get a stretch limo to pick you guys up and bring you to the CORKS field...

Jules,
Thats a good idea having the HOOTER girls there as cheerleaders. I don't know how that "inventor" stuff got in there.
PF.
Having the stretch limo pick us up, I like that!! Could you also have a couple of the HOOTER girls in the limo to serve coffe and croissants on the way to the field? Not that I am letting fame go to my head. LOL.
See you guys in July.
Go easy on the 3.5 stuff you don't want to get carpal tunnel syndrom!!!!

Second drop of new skydiver, pic not great, it was close to dark.
Didn't weigh before first drop, had a light breeze, and would not hold into wind.
Added 13.9 oz. (only size I had with me) of lead for second drop held in wind good, may have been a little too much though.
Belongs to a guy from Buchanon WV, He has been working in the area and flying with us for a while.

Huh, I thought I uploaded two pics where did they go?

There you go Bob, we could also take his glasses an paint little orange circles on them and then he would think he is in the circle all fo the time....
We will figure something out for you Juan. Great picture and glad you had a good time in Yuma.
Gary,
Cool pictures, looks like you had nice weather.
I have the flyer done but, need approval from upper management before I post it (Paul Reiner and Paul Fannin). Soon as that gets approved I will post it. I will have the registration forms ready soon too. Hope everyone can make it sure sounds like we are going to have a good event, even better than last year. Thank you to everyone in advance. [8D]
