Default Bellcrank Problems...

Hey guys. My ofna Ultra LX Pro is having some steering issues. The servo is plenty powerful and works fine. However, lots of times, the steering wont turn full lock. When it does this, I have noticed the bellcrank V grooves are seperating from each other... How its supposed to do when you hit something. The steering isnt binding, and it does this when you are just driving on flat ground too. There is no thumbwheel on the bellcrank to tighten/loosen it on this buggy. Any idea what the problem might be?

I thought about taking it apart, and shimming the bellcrank tighter to make it hold together harder, but im not sure thats the real problem. Thanks for any help

if i am understanding right you are talking about the servo saver. something is binding or your settings on your transmitter has to much travel set in it. i would check your settings on the transmitter first try that. my ofna lx 1 did the same and the settings was the problem. the spring might be to weak in the servo saver also.

It is the servo saver, its just built into the bellcranks so thats why I was calling it that. It doesent have too much steering throw. When i turn the wheels full lock, they only go maybe 2/3 of the way and you can see the servo saver opening up, like it would if you hit something. However, I can then take my hand and just turn the wheel the little bit extra and its right where it should be and the servo saver goes back to normal. Just not sure why its doing that.

i would check the spring inside the servo saver sounds like it might be weak.
