Forward battery mount bracing
#1
I decided to put my battery up front (first time) and am trying to determine the best way to brace it. You can see the pic below how I have it set up.
I put double sided tape on the top bracket and just zip-tied it. I'm not sure I am comfortable with the zip-ties, mainly because I did not uber-tighten them, simply because I'm concerned about what that sort of tension will do to the battery.
I'm not going to race using this setup, but this should allow to break it in.
What materials would you recommend to brace it?
Thanks!

Can you move it with your hand as it is? After looking at the picture again I would rotate the cable ties a little further around so that the square part of the tie is sat flat (if you get me).

Velcro makes these ties to use with bundling wiring, not like the conventional hook and loop style velcro. They are too long so they have to be trimmed but the hold is amazing. I use them to hold my batteries in place on the Hyper 7's I would take a pic but I am at work. Did I mention I hate my job and the people I work for. Anyway that was a side note. I will take a pic later but they came in a 3 pack, one end is wider with an opening to feed the other end through.

Yes, I can move them by hand (with medium strength). As noted, I could lock them down to were they DON'T move, but concerned about the force on the battery itself. Velcro is another option. Would love to see the pic of your setup, as well as the specific velcro ties you are referencing. Thanks again!
