Default STARTING UP YOUR ENGINE IN THE COLD

I just bought my new Ofna LX Pro RTR. It took me forever just to get it started (although, it is about 42degrees). The next day I go out with a hair dryer, warm it up, got it started and it keep dieing. Then I couldn't get it started up again. Any ideas?

put aluminum foil around the head and you are gonna have to lean it out more than you would think. i have my savage playing with it in the cold about 28 degrees out. on the second tank is when the motor starts coming to life i didn't let it cool down between tanks just filled it up and started going again. maybe get a shorter head and hotter glow plug....

why would you want to lean out the engine in the cold? you go factory setting or a little richer so you dont over lean the engine- brad

Lean? I run my blubbery rich with foil around the head. You don't want to run lean in cold weather because of the dense air. Ofna, your complaining about 42 degree weather? bah! It was running single digits here for over a week. We got what the weatherman is calling a "heat wave" right now pushing us beyond freezing. Quit your belly achin! [>:]

I tried starting it up with the tim foil, I got it started up easy but within 3 seconds after I removed my glow plug charger it kept shutting off. Then, I increased the idle and still it died. You think it might be the glow charger?
