Default Quick building question

I'm building my mugen mbx5 kit. It says to use "rubber" glue to glue the brake pads to their matching metal parts. What the heck is rubber glue? What kind of glue have you guys used for this?

Don't glue the pads to the backing, let it all float and use shock O rings between the to keep them from dragging on the rotor when they are released.

When you stack your brake parts on their studs, put a shock seal O ring between the friction pads. You can also get little springs from OFNA for the same thing, or make your own from a ball point spring. The O ring or springs will keep the pads pushed apart so they won't drag on your brake rotors when you are not using them.

I would be hesitant about not glueing them, might they have a chance of getting torn off?

i have no problem with mine. I know there is probably different methods, but i know mine is okay. I am going to use the o-ring tip though.
