here is my problem, I cant turn when the track is wet but when its dry I can turn fine, I actaully turn faster lap times with the track is dry then i do when there is traction. Its like the only way i can get my car to turn is if I wip it to the right and then quickly wip it to the left, and vise versa. If i stay off the brakes and just turn the wheel it does alright sometimes but I have had it push all the way into the pipe once with the wheels fully turned. Now after this race i discovered that one of my clutch springs had broken, could this be the reason for the bad push? Its sounds logical because if the clutch isnt disengaging then the car is still wanting to move forward.
Here is my current setup for the front
Diff-3000 weight oil
Shocks-50 weight oil with kyosho blue springs
Im also running a front stabilizer bar
My shocks are mounted on the most inner hole on the shock tower and on the Arm they are mounted on the most outer hole.
Im using a servo with .12 sec@110oz for steering
any input is apreciated

Theres the items I was looking for. Tyres swapping them for the conditions is the right idea but I think youre going the wrong way and 50 wt shock oil on a loose surface.. oh too hard. try 20 - 25 wt shock oil it will let the shocks recover quicker and keep the wheels on the floor. I cant argue with the rest of you setup as I do run it sometimes.

Also I feel the Ofna =II tyres are great and dig in just right on loose dirt and my buggy just turns on a sixpense (dime) with em.

thanks tweety ill give that a try this weekend.
hey grahama where did you get those tires and what exactly are they called, Im not sure if those would work better then my cosmics though because I think they would just pack with mud, the cosmics seem to do a pretty good job of keeping somewhat clean.

I'm very lucky that many of the Pro drivers run at the same tracks I race
they all run Crimefighter for the wet track and Knuckles for the dry
Those Cosmics?? save for your bashing seasions
Stick with the crime fighters on the wet and I bet you'll do better

yea but those california tracks are hard packed, here in Iowa everthing is loose unless its indoors, when you go into the first turn you throw a rooster tail of dirt clods, If i ran crimefighter they would just pack in and it would be like running slicks but ill try it anyways and see if I like it or not. Its not that the cosmics dont get traction, Its like they get too much.
