Stalefish,
You're right about 'em being too young. My ten year old ran his nitro into car door (Real Family Car) a couple of days ago.

MK999,
She works at the bank and sees every penny I spend.
Well, Thanks guys. I'm gonna get going and check out this buggy to see if what you said helps!

that means she can probably freeze it as well I think you need a swiss bank account or use the car a lot while she's not around, use a lot of 'petrol' and hide the spare cash undera floorboard somewhere. There are ways around the banks

Nope standard Ho-Bao, wouldn't dream of using a k&n airfilter on my car, too many horror stories. It's just held on incredibly tight because i've had one fall off before and ruin an engine.

Getting back to the stalling problem.
HPIDUDE and MK999 said to check it it a stand still and here's what I found out. The throttle slider does move slightly when you hammer the brakes. Don't know if it's enough to stall the engine though. My LHS said that some engines mixture needles are cut with a steeper angle than others. He said it can make 'em touchy to adjust. I've been turning the low speed a 1/16th at a time. I'm gonna try smaller adjustments and post what I find out.
If anybody has anymore suggestion I'm open to 'em. Thought I knew my stuff about Nitros...this one makes me humble and mumble!

ok inthat case you need to move the idle needle in slightly, the way i do it is to adjust the trim on my radio to a suitable idle speed, don't go crazy a slow idle makes braking more effective, something needed off road because of low grip. I then (with the radio still on, so it puts up resistance) screw the idle screw in until it either lock or the idle speeds up and then back it out by 1/8th of a turn and 'voila', perfect idle[8D]
