WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
I GOT MY MAYHAM TODAY!!! GONNA POST PICTURES!!! I will also try to write a review on this biotch as well. However, the body looks ok, however, I prefer the traditional look. Oldchopdoc, if I have any of the problems you are, I will let you know. I have like 3 years nitro engine experience on me. I still suck though and dont know everything out there, but the tuning and break-in bits I got down pat!

Anyway back to topic, have you sorted the problem yet? Tried what i suggested? BTW it's not a tuning problem, i don't think, hard to say without hearing the car. But sounds more like a linkage setup thing just make sure your idle on the actual engine and on the radio is the same and at the right level[8D]

thought so, just had a look at the shell actually see what all the fuss was about, and it's quite nice i think, the kyoshos mugens etc. seem to have really squared off shells whereas the mayhem is a bit rounder and the H7 is just beautifully rounded and those slight 'flicks' before the shock towers, beautiful, pure genius
Edit: Maybe i should post a new thread/poll on the best looking shells, won't bother if nobody cares though

Here's the latest!!! It's fixed!!!![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I listened, e-mailed, tried a few things and...It runs like a scalded dog. When I saw the carb closing slightly each time I hit the brakes I ran the idle screw all the way in to get that worry out of the way. Turns out I was lean on low end. Fixed that, but it still ran rough sometimes after we got on the brakes. I changed fuel line to a smaller diameter line so it would fit tighter on the tank nipples, tuned the engine after it was up to temp and wahlah!
We ran the tank dry and didn't stall once
. Temp was around 220 at the plug. It had a very slight stumble coming off idle if you gas it up slow, but it goes away if you're driving it like it was meant to be driven. Then we tried it with the large carb insert (comes with three sizes). After I got it tuned it got flat out ridiculous. It's quick, there's no doubt about that! A few troubles, but all-in-all, we're really happy with the performance, handling, endurance, and value.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out!!![&:]

I'd say if it glugs a bit when you hit the throtlle slow your top end is rich but if temps are fine etc. and you're happy then leave it alone, better to have a slight problem you're happy with having than muck up settings.
Edit: let me add some advice i was given, Have fun. Don't go too crazy. Don't break anything, unless you have spares sitting and waiting for the postman is not nice an should only be experienced when you're waiting for a new car

PS if it glugs a bit when you hit the throttle, make sure you have some smoke or it could be to lean. If It's spitting then it may be too rich.

I was reading the old posts and just messing with MK
Thanks. I'm a hair rich on top end because it's still a fairly new engine. Just finished break-in. It isn't a bad stumble, just cracks a time or two. Didn't want it too lean. Hate buying new engines!

It's supposed to shift to the floor if anything with one half of the airfilter in your hand and the other still on the car

HPIDUDE,
I'm gonna post some, but (HERE WE GO) I don't have a digital camera so Wal-mart developes our pics and gives us a disc back with them. We'll have to start a thread for buggy pics if there isn't one already.

there is one but theres no harm in posting a new one the older ones end up like 8 pages long[X(] and no-one can be bothered to read through them all![EEK!](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif)
BTW I posted a thread on the best looking buggy bodies, not one for pics though just whether you think kyoshos are boxy looking etc.

Theres no harm in running engines rich, The current Euro No. 5 does it and he's the current Euro No.5 so it can't affect performance that badly

Good to hear! I still run 'em lean when I want more top end for what ever reason though. Wonder how he'd be doing if he leaned it out.

That wouldn't be any good, cause then I'd have to start another thread about a messed up fuel tank!

nah, it'd be about a messed up engine, for the air leak and the fact it was running really lean and got nakard

This thread started out about fuel tank trouble and I found out the car was lean with an air leak too. So it makes perfect sense to me that if your engine's really lean you ought to start a thread about a bad fuel tank. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
