Sorry I know their are so many topics like this, but their will be no arguing on this one :-D
Im going to go pick up my WS7 today from Fed Ex, and like a little boy, having to use it the first day, I'm going to break it in. My main question is, what was that method called, and how do I do it, with breaking the engine in? The one where you cycle the engine in 2-3 minute intervuals. Can any give me a link? Or explain it, because I forgot.
Also what plugs can I run in this engine? Michigan has had a piss poor summer so the temps are usualy 65-80 every day, not much more than that.
Thank you ever so much,
Cloud15x

It is the Stephen Bess Method.
www.sgrid.com- search through the offroad forums on that website or use the search button on this forum and type in Stephen Bess or something along those lines.
the Novarossi #6 plug should be a good plug for a colder climate- however you might want to go to a hotter Novarossi/RB #5 or a cooler #7 plug as well.. It's all about experimentation. And all depends on what type/percentage/blend of fuel you are using and the ehad clearance as well. Might want to be more specific.

add one thin copper .01mm shim to it to run 30%. This will lessen the likeliehood of detonation.
for shims, if you don't have any-

Can i use the stephen bess method on a box, cuz its raining?
Also after charging my 1200mah nimh battery pack and trying my servos. I notced when I break with my FMA S3501M(I know not great, but better than Futaba S3003s), My Steering servo, Airtronics 94357, slows down a touch, noticble to the ear and eye diffrence. What could be causing this, is my thorottle servo taking up too much power? SHould I change it? Is my battery pack shot?
