Default Problem with placing the pipe

I just got today an 086 ofna pipe but i noticed when i try to put it in my PBS that the manifold is a bit short in order to place the pipe as the black stock one was plus the 086 is a bit thick and therefore touches the fuel tank. Also i can't place the body shell.Do i need a new longer manifold?

No you can get it to fit the way it is,,you will need to bend and re-adjust the pipe suport wire a little,,,also if needed you can flare open the header a little to alter the angle of the pipe so it fits square with the header,,I had to do that a little too

look here,,,same pipe

Am not sure how to flare open the header.Am concerned that I might destroy the header if i try to alter its angle.

It's very soft aluminum,,I've had to do it at the track after getting t-boned

just get it warm, not red hot just warm and take a couple large screw drivers and pry it open a little, it doesn't take much, you'll be amased how easy it is

That pipe is made by Hong Nor,,Not Hao Bo,,What can I say.
It isn't designed specifically for the Hyper7????
Maybe it fits the Violator perfect,,,who knows

You know part of this hobby is working on the cars,,Not every after market part fits every car perfectly,,I think this is a very small price to pay for saving $40-$50,,,I had the same issue with the RB pipe I had before. For me it's no big deal I like spending time tinkering with things,,,this is a 10 minute fix,,, no big deal to me
