Right so you are commenting in a thread about a car you know nothing about except you have seen one bend a shock tower.. I bet the guy who races one says your X5 is better as well doesnt he, coz he must think its rubbish if it bends a shock tower in a crash, guess he's sold it now and bought an X5 right?

Having reviewed your 27 posts on this site, I am wondering if you actually have anything constructive to add to this thread, as I can't actually name a buggy with an unbendable/unbreakable shock tower... Bearing in mind the S3 shock towers are made from 7075-T6 alloy, the same as all the upgrade parts for other buggies, I am assuming you will count all those buggies in your carp list, including the MBX-5...
Its become apparent that you really are a troll, nothing more...
For those that are unsure as to how I reached this conclusion, check out his other posts, see how many of them are slagging one thing or another or being sarcastic in one form or another.... He doesnt have an S3 yet the majority of his posts are slagging the S3... Troll pure and simple....

Obvoiusly, his mother never told him " if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all "
Hey, qwertydvorak, since we all know your opinion about the S3, and don't really care what you have to say about it, why don't you share some of your opinions on what clutch or engine you're using, maybe share some first-hand experience.

Yes, you're right, I should have said in a different thread.
either way, he should go talk trash about how much better he thinks his x5 is than a S3 somewhere else.
Back on topic, so everyone is using the stock clutch set-up in the S3?

I have used the stock clutch and the K-Factory clutch bells, all with the stock shoes at present... 13 and 14T bells...
Both seem fine so far, but after 2 gallons my clutch bearings are pretty much shot, so I am waiting on some newuns (and surplus stock)

i have owned 2 MBX 5's...the are fragile and cheep crap...My shocktowers bent from the wind resistance of going down the back strait. Typical mugen..big price...crap product. I race against like 10 mugens regularly...everytime they go to start them on the starter box....the chassis blows up. the diffs leak and put oil slicks infront of me while i come around to lap them...i saw some crash before..and when the guy grabed the wing to flip it...he pulled of everthing from the chassis...
heres the facts dingleberry...The S3 is of quality that is as high or higher than mugen...the stock mugen shock towers bend easy..just like the stock S3 towers...the TTR plastics are pretty much the best in the business on this buggy..i have over 6 gallons on my S3...and still have almost NO play in any of the parts...my X5 had to have the plastic bushings replaced every 2-3 gallons..my ttr is still on the original...the TTR has some of the best DIFFS in the business also...after 4 gals of running..i went to replace diff oils for a big race...i didnt have too..the were still full to the top...
they need to somehow make it towhere u can only talk about products that u have first hand information about..so retards like qwerkydonk and motopro can only post in there crappy car threads..I have no experience with any Kyosho product..but i dont bash it one bit..i have very lil experience with Ofna..i dont bash it...u have no experiece with anything..u bash...
Cheers

Repete well said, Most of the hear say and rumors are just opinions and you know what they say about opinions
It gets to a point where you have to just see for yourself and forget about what people say as it gets more confusing the more you talk to different people... It does get annoying when you get people saying this isn’t good or that is crap when they never had one to experience it.

Yeah I know robbieroach for bearings as well, but I expected mine to come with the kit, unfortunately it had been scavenged prior to dispatch...

OK Guys, come on, first off, I don't think English is qwertydvorak's first language, so at least appreciate that he has made the effort to learn at least acceptable English for your (our) benefit, I doubt you speak Russian, Chinese or Greek, so take it easy on that count, some of the grammatical, spelling and punctuation mistakes made by native English speakers on forums (not just this one), are an absolute disgrace, and they have no excuse.
Secondly, forums are about opinion, and he is entitled to his, however poorly conceived.
Thirdly, I think he's yanking your chains, he obviously has a respect for the car, even jealousy, as he seems to have a problem with the fact that it dials in twenty seconds straight out the box.
Finally, if you really can't stand someone, ignore them, it's better than making comments like 'Troll', true or not.
<Gets down off soapbox>.....Please don't hurt me I'm new. By the way, I like the sound of this buggy, it sounds excellent, but I had some really bad experiences with TTR products, and it will take a long time for the wounds to heal, I'm definitely going for the Hyper 7.

For someone with a poor grasp of english he has an incredible grasp of sarcasm and trashing...
Look at his latest post on the X1-CR...
I mean FGS this guy doesnt have an opinion, he has a sour mouth for just about every product but the ones he owns...
Losers like this should just stay away... they spoil the forums for those of us that want to have a proper discussion.. and yes older thunder tiget quality was poor, as is some of the current rtr stuff, but thats in a completely different category to this product which just oozes quality all the way through...
heres my evidence...

Note the transponder... not a basher.. a racer.. albeit a bad one

The use of the word troll is an internet term for someone who posts in forums looking to start arguments...
as you can see it fits pretty accurately, wasnt meant to be an insult, a pure statement of evidence leading to the facts...

An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person. The term derives from the phrase "trolling for newbies" and ultimately from trolling for fish; it first appeared on Usenet. The term is frequently abused to slander opponents in heated debates and is frequently misapplied to those who are ignorant of etiquette.
Trolling is often described as an online version of the breaching experiment, where social boundaries and rules of etiquette are broken. Self-proclaimed trolls often style themselves as Devil's Advocates or gadflies or culture jammers, challenging the dominant discourse and assumptions of the forum they are trolling in an attempt to subvert and introduce different ways of thinking. Detractors who value etiquette claim that true Devil's Advocates generally identify themselves as such for the sake of etiquette, whereas trolls often consider etiquette to be something worth trolling in order to fight groupthink.
Trolls are sometimes caricatured as socially inept. This is often due to the fundamental attribution error, as it is impossible to know the real traits of an individual solely from their online discourse. Indeed, since intentional trolls are alleged to knowingly flout social boundaries, it is difficult to typecast them as socially inept since they have arguably proven adept at their goal.

That is a pretty sweet buggy, and you might wanna check out my response to his post on the x1cr thread, ok he's a bit of a plum at times, but the world is full of 'em and we all gotta deal with it, I thought his comment about the blue clutch was f'in hilarious. By the way, I'm from Coventry originally, but spent many many years in Kingston, then moved to greece two years ago...what's the weather like in blighty? Getting better now I hear...
P.S. I know what troll means, I just think it's a bit harsh for this situation.

Hey foxy, not far from coventry me... weather is up and down but forecast is okay for this weekend, which will be nice as have a race meeting on sunday... it has suddenly got a lot warmer last few days tho...
Yeah he has made some funny comments, but he has been fight picking and slagging Alex, I will let it slide and see if he can adapt his behavious to become a useful forum member... Humour has its place, but endless attempts and no positive input just gets very wearing...
I think you will actually find thats 2 sweet buggies... Yes I have 2 TTR S3's now... one well upgraded and the other box stock... the stock one is really for spares/emergencies tho... Set 2 up the same and then in the event of a problem, unbolt radio box/servo tray as one piece and bolt it straight in the other...
Sweet...
