i got a great deal on the hb lightning rr buggy from tower hobbies - i got them to price match to $290 then another $40 off, cost me $250. Anyway, i just received the box yesterday and i am impressed with the quality and design. However, i have not found many sites to buy replacement and hop-up parts for it - for instance, i cannot find any info on how to turn in to a roto-start ...

please tell me about good sites that you know has hop-ups for this wonderful buggy - hb lightning rr rtr (I).

is it the lightning 1 or 2? if 1 what engine has it got. the rota starter may not fit. if 2 you just buy the backplate, but 2 normally has that.

it is the ligntning 1 - is there is direct bolt on rotostart ? also, what site has replacement and optional parts for this buggy ?

i dont know any sites for lightning one. i am sure there is not much difference betwen the 1 and 2 so look for 2 parts. they are stronger etc so worth a look. tower hobbies do these aswell but not sure as dont use cos live in UK
