i just ordered one and its on the way. does anybody know if the stock chassis stifeners are plastic i want to know so i can order the aluminum ones thanks.

Not really. You might want to fill the diffs and shocks with your choice of oils. You can set up camber and toe to your liking. Different tires for varying track conditions is not a bad idea if you're going to race it. A rechargeable nimh battery pack will be good too.

remove all screws that thread into metal, and put locktite on them. don't forget the grub screws that fasten the center drive shafts. and definately change the diff lube in all diffs. the pipe is almost impossible to keep connected at the coupler, i just replaced the pipe.
