Dang it! I let time slip again. I completely forgot all about that race. Me and my buddies are going to be at One Stop Raceway this weekend.

Hmm... just wondering for a causal racer. Does this price seem fair?

$731 is too much. $700 is what A-Main Hobbies sells it for.

i might buy the sp2 kit later this fall i love my ttr but i driven a standard 777 and really liked it but didnt buy it cause at the time ya couldnt get parts for them cause of the dealer direct transition. i whent through this same crap with berretta shotguns when they went dealer direct. i just like all the aftermarket junk you can get for the kyoshos. and they do handle nice.

$469 on SP1?!?!?! Is that just because the SP2 is out or did Great Planes really rip Kyosho off that much?

GPMD ripped them off BIG time. Tower's stock is at a nearly all time low. Too bad they dont sell losi products anymore.

I with you on that one. I absolute love my car but its a year old and you know what a year old buggy condition is.... There is nothing else out there that I want so Im in the process of getting on that deal. Not so sure if I want the SP2 conversion so Im kind or holding out until further notice.

Just another thought.... You can get a regular 777 kit from Ultimate hobbies for $319. Ebay has some conversion kits floating around for $200. Now you have a 777 with a milled SP2 chassis, center universals and SP2 milled shock towers and blue springs for just over $500. Get some rear universals for $20 and you got a racer. I hear that Kyosho has dropped the TCD from the SP2 so the only difference will be the shock case, spur gear, and motor mounts. But who really cares about those things. Top notch racer $550.
