bad diff

Default bad diff

so how does your diff gears go out on a buggy that is only a month old? found a shim missing in the gears......

If you put it together then it could be shimmed wrong.

What buggy is it and what motor is in it?

Edit: Also what diff is it (front, center, rear) and was there diff oil in it?

if it is an RTR vesion it cane with grease instead of diff oil in the case. If you are a basher, this will contribute to an early death to the diffs... usually the center or rear first.

its a katana rtr .27, the center diff is the problem. i took it apart and grease in it and also 1 shim was missing. i drive the car hard so your probably right. should there be a shim for each gear? the book i have shows shims on all the gears. somebody over looked something at the factory.must of been made on a friday. so do u think some new gears and diff oil will do it?
