plz hlp, engine wont come back down 2 idol
why wont my hyper 8 port engine come back down 2 a idol, when i rev it up and come back down to let it idol it revs 4 a bit then drops down to a normal idol. how do i get it to come back down to a idol straight away with out it running on

Nope, richen the HSN a tadge, your leaning out the mill to much and there's not enough fuel to run it at the correct fuel/air mix when it returns to idle, as it sits there it's recovering but revs up till the balance is correct again. You may need to lean the LSN a bit after the HSN is fattened. You'll also notice this symptom is similar to running out of fuel, as in uncontrolable reving up, so there's a clue as to why it's happening.

the hsn is still real rich, iv only just run it in and its blowin heaps of smoke thrugh the whole rev range

Actually if your LSN is adjusted correctly, it will give you a high idle for 6-10 seconds then drop down to the low idle.
If the idle doesn't change while adjusting the Idle screw, it's an Air leak.
If the idle doesn't change while adjusting the Idle screw, it's an Air leak.
