Default Standard Vs. SP1 or 2

Does the below really affect the performance:

1- Center universals.
2- Rear universals.
3- Special engine mounts

I mean if Mr.Kanai was about to race and without him noticing I replaced the above parts with standard dog bones and standard engine mount will he notice that during the race!

i think he would notice. as for me, i can feel when something is not right on my buggy. but anyway, if you are trying to justify paying $150 more for the SP2, over the price slashed SP1, i would go with the SP1. it is a great buggy, very tough, great steering, highest quality. with the discounted prices of the SP1, you can't go wrong.

Go for the SP2. At 650 dollars you will notice the differece significantly, and it will make you that much faster !! Plus you will have the best of the best. But if your looking to save money go with the Sp1 as it is great also. or even the standard mp777 as it is the same platform. I just got the SP2 and I love it. It made me a lot faster than my Xray. Just my opinion.

On the other note, I can tell when I have center unis in rather than bones, as when your on and off power all the time the snap of power is shown by the wheels as the bones take up the slack in the drive train, obviously as Unis have 1/2 the slop, they dont have that snapping bite as they get put under the strain.

IMO the SP2s that are on sale ATM are a steal, They consist of the SP1 and an SP2 upgrade kit. So you get a complete buggy (SP1) and the parts that make the difference. But doesn't that leave you with a load of spares that would cost almost $300. Now how could they pay for themselves ???
