Hobby people is advertising it but don't list the specs.

Like the cooling head, like the laydown servo, like the body and I love those integrated front/rear diff braces. I also like the position of the gas tank.
I like the adjustable turnbuckles and tie rods. I pretty much like it all! I might get the pro when it comes out. XTM/Global is a good company with good products. I had an original XTM Xterminator a few years back. It was a good buggy, with only that rear diff issue that really hurt it.

with all the new trends of putting all the mass at the center of the car, this just looks odd to me, But I guess its a budget buggy.

I am sure they will make a 2 speed if the original 2 speed conversion doesn't work...
Of course, I NEVER understood why a buggy needs 2 speeds personally. Things are little land missles stock with a single speed. To me, anything over 40-45MPH is just unneccessary.

We were five monster trucks and one buggy. That buggy didn't need that second speed but needless to say, it has GNARLY!!!!!!

It's for speed loving people like me. It's also appealing for some noobs, because they like the extra speed.
I don't like the position of the front body mount, because where it mounts on the body, that part sometimes rips off, and then it is unsecured, and it will fly up, secured only by the rear body mounts.
But other than that, I like it. I enjoy the separate battery and receiver box, makes it less crowded in the box.

Rustler 08/MM, you dont have any experience with XTM to be giving negative comments or advice towards... so why post it?

Looks like a pretty good improvement over the original.. doesnt have the big goofy radio tray, battery is secured with clips instead of a molded plastic latch (that opens too easily). Hope they fixed that rear diff case issue, i used to break them all the time. The pro version of it will probably be pretty good

Kemo, I have ripped the front part of the body off before, and it will happen to every buggy. I'm just saying that with that body mounting style, if the front part is ripped off, which will happen, then there is nothing securing the front part of the body down

the buggy has "potential", just needs people to get it there.
