Default Stiff Flywheel on a new engine

hi there,

just completed building my kyosho mp7.5 kanai 2 and using a RB Concepts WS7 - 2. For the starter box, using the Power Racing High Torque.

My problem is getting the flywheel to actual turn a complete revolution. On the starterbox, it starts to turn and then locks tight. Also its just too tight to turn by hand, however using a screedriver and can leverage the flywheel to turn a complete revolution. Is this normal and if so how can I get it to start?

ive taken off the glow plug thinking it was the compression but this does not help.... the piston to sleeve just seems too tight...

any help please from you experts would be great....

The engine sounds like its dry, Try putting a little After Run Oil into cyclinder and down carb. or some other very light oils and turn like you did before with screw driver. This should help you turn the engine over better. When you go to start engine leave the glow plug a little loose for first little bit that will help as well. Good Luck hope this helps some.

All new engines have this problem, the two best ways ive found to fix it is put ARO into the glowplug hole, and heat up the engine with a heat gun or hairdryer

good nitro engines do not have straight cylinder walls they look like ( ) not as pronounced of course, so the sticking is when the piston reaches the the everso slightly thinner top.
Correction non ringed piston engines
