Have not needed many spares except the eccentric bushing (wear), but I would suggest you do the wing mount mod that you will find on the OFNA site.

That is why I asked. I will be running in the RCPro Series Midwest Round One on Apr. 28th. Just needed some ideas on what to order. I saw that there is a Hobby Town USA close but I don't know if they stock any parts.
The wing fix is done already but was there another fix?

Thanks for all the input and keep it coming.

Even thaw I rarely need it I take just about enough stuff to build another buggy including 2 back up engines. You never have to many parts! It takes my whole car just to carry what all I take and I do not have a small car. 90% of it is for my buggy and 10% for camping. Guess it all has to do with how much money you want to spend as anything can happen! When you are in a points race this can make the difference between 100 points or 200 points. The Georgia Championship series has 8 round at 3 different tracks. At each round we have around 90 racers. Has a cash payout for the 10 in each class at the end of the year.

How often do you change the oil? I have about 6 gallons on my Hyper 8 and yet been able to keep oil in them for a race weekend! I do not even see evidence of leaking but after about half a gallon I take them apart and only have about 1/3 the oil I put in. Before some one asked yes when filling I spin the gears to fill the air pockets. I have changed the O-rings even gone as far as to buy new diff off ebay and still same thing.

I only change mine about every 5 weekend of racing. I would say I still have about 90% of my oil left. I have noticed my truggy also used a little oil but never to the point where I would think it is leaking.

All 3 of mine will not even make one race weekend of about ½ gallon of fuel. When I check I am lucky to have 1/3 the oil I put in. Like I said even tried NEW diffs out of a new kit off ebay same thing. I even put a little RTV on the setscrew and the screws holding the ring or spur gear.
Thanks for the input.

Mabey try a different brand oil. Mabey the oil you are using is braking down to fast. I have been using ofna oil and slowly switching over to Mugen diff oil.

46u, as you know all my diffs leaked out of the box on my new one. After rebuilding them all is well. You might want to fill one like you normally do and then run it one tank. Take it out and see if it is low, my bet is that it will be. After filling I have found that rotating the gears and then setting them to the side for a while requires that I top it off again to get it back up to the crosspin.

Thanks but that is pretty much how I fill mine. Being my next race will only be a club race I just added oil to see what they look like after that race and will do a major service before round 4 of the series.
Thanks.

Being Ofna is an importer and not a manufactory and they import both Hobao and Hong Nor I would say very few parts are interchangeable. The newest most up dated buggy they carry is the Hyper 8.

Do to my best round this past weekend in Savannah in the Georgia Championship Series right now I am in 8th place in the points. Moved up from 11th.

The highest-end buggies that OFNA imports is the Hyper 8 and Jammin' X1 CR Factory Team Edition.

I'm not completey sure about compatability between the Hyper 8 and Hyper 8 Pro, but they are pretty much the same buggy. The differences I can think of off the top of my head is the shock towers, radio tray, and shock springs.

I am sorry to ask this... Would you say CEN Matrix KIT is better than Jammin/Hyper8? or is it the other way around?
