RE: *Official Sportwerks Turmoil Thread*
Ran my turmoil pro saturday at a local track. It did pretty well until about the end of the day. Broke a steering knuckle.
Went to another track on sunday, got a new steering knuckle,
While changing the part, I noticed one of my CVD cups was cracked. I had one already break the weekend before. Luckily I had spares of those.
installed everything and ran about 5 minutes and the SOB steering knuckle broke again. lol
It's time for some minor changes...
So I quietly put my car back in the pits and went into the shop there and came back out with a new ride.
out with the old and in with the new!!
I just got done putting some color on the new body.
Also got me some other goodies to go along with it.

So once it's time to put the Turmoil to sleep for ever, what are you guys thinking of replacing it with? RC8, 8ight, or something else? Just curious as to where I should focus my attention on to...

I like the turmoil buggy. I'm going to keep my turmoil for awhile because Horizon will still carry parts for awhile. They still have parts for the mayhem buggy and I haven't ran that buggy for sometime. What tires do you guys run?

RE: *Official Sportwerks Turmoil Thread*
It is to bad that Sportwerks is a dieing brand. We sold of My Mayhem ST this spring basicly got dick out of for what I had into it. KP extended Chassis Kit. Sold as a RTR got about $250 out of it. Had well over $600 in hopups and parts that went with it. So I decided that I will just keep my Mayhem Buggy and let new comers to the track have some fun with it to draw interest. If I am not going to get anything out of it selling I might as well possibly draw in some new racers to our home track. I have enough spare parts for it that I should be able to keep it going for some time. When out of parts I guess I will just throw it out. :-(
I have since upgraded to All Mugens MBX5R and MBX5T. Huge difference. They rock. Now if the weather would start cooperating I would love to actually have a chance to race them.

What glow plug is everyone using in the Sportwerks .21 engine? I finally got my buggy running and have the break in almost done. I would like to get a couple spares to take with me to the races.

RE: *Official Sportwerks Turmoil Thread*
After getting annoyed about the Turmoil being discontinued right after I broke the a-arm in just 15 minutes, I moved the new Sirio engine and electronics back into my Kyosho US Sports buggy. I ran it around the yard a few times before I remembered why I switched in the first place.
So I replaced the a-arm after boiling the new one and headed to the track. I got about 45 minutes of racing in without anything breaking, which is amazing considering how bad I am! At the very end while trying to burn up the remaining fuel in the tank, I took a small bump and noticed the right rear wheel was hanging funny. I thought I had broken another arm and was a bit ticked. I looked everything over and noticed the problem was that the screw came out of the upper arm where it connects to the rear shock tower. I had forgotten to loc-tite it after removing it during the previous repair!
In any case, I'm pretty happy with the Turmoil over-all. I figure I'll run it through the end of the year and then decide on a replacement.

I am definately keeping my turmoil as a backup. Or I can let my friends drive it.
I also have a lot of spares saved up for it.
I like my turmoil, but think i'm going to love my rc8.
