On my last teardown on sunday. I stripped it down to the very last bolt and rebuilt it. All new fluids, bearings, seals. I put all the pro parts on it. New wheels and tires, body, and wing. I stripped the anodizing off of all the parts....

Can anyone help me with this it was fine at first but I had to change the servo arm and then this started. I changed the servo to top instead of laying down and still is binding somewhere.

Make sure your pillowballs aren't too tight. The first time I swapped wheels I noticed the screws were "loose"; so I tighted them up. End result: almost no steering.

Its the hitec 5645 and it worked great before so I dont think it can be that. I loosened up the screws, not sure which ones pillow balls are, and it worked a little and thats why you see the travel that I do get. If I loosen anymore the screws will be poking out. I think Im just going to have to take everything apart and put it back together to be sure.
Another question anyone know where to get 4x20 screws? I lost one because I didnt tighten my screws when I first got it and cant find them anywhere.

Pull the bushings out of the bellcrank and replace them with 6x10 avid bearings and losen up some screws to see what screw is binding up, after you find out what screws are binding up, be sure to locktight the crap out of all the screws, then on the set screw on your front lower A-arm screw it down a little to releave the binding on the tie rod ends, that how i fixed my steering problems. I have had my turmoil for 6 months now and have raced 2 races great buggy!

If you take the wheel off you'll see two steel plates: one on the top and bottom. Each plate has two small screws holding it in. You should be able to move the plate around a small amount. If you can't, then that is what is binding your steering.

Would that happen out the blue? I never had that problem then one day I tried to turn and the steering bell crank area just pushes the spring sown while the upper part that is connected to the servo arm seperates from the bottom. I tried to show that in the vid but that area was to dark.

If you didn't do it intentionally, then probably not. Perhaps something (like dirt) got inside the ball? One of my pillow balls is slightly scuffed and doesn't turn as easily inside the socket. I'm getting ready to tear down my buggy to replace the shock oils. I'll try to take some pictures and post later today.
