Hey all i just picked up a killer deal on ebay for a turmoil I am guessing rtr roller. I just figured I would reach out to all of you on suggestions of what to do with it.. Should I keep it as a backup car? if so I have only raced with the stock .21 v2 engine.. any suggestions on what type of motor... I would like to stay under 200 if possible. Has any of you converted to brushless by chance? if so how was the conversion? Or should I just let it sit and use it for spare parts

i think the .26 V2 is a great engine. not too much power output ([X(]),and its not too weak. although i dont know the price.

i really dont think there is a difference in the chassis between the rtr and the pro. i think the only differences are the shock towers, motor mounts, shock springs, wheel nuts and uhhh it comes with aluminum clutch shoes

You mean that as it isn't really worth it?? Because there is a difference. the pro is milled and has the FGC but I think the RTR has the FGC as well..

not only is the PRO chassis milled. it is 7075 alum. the rtr is 6061 which is alot less durable and less rigid. dimensions are the same, just better material and milled. it is a good upgrade from the rtr chassis. the difference is basically like any other pro buggy and its rtr counterpart. 8ight, RC8 etc. if you think there isnt much diference in 6061 vs. 7075, run clutch shoes made of these two grades of alum. and you will change your mind.
