Cnc knuckle for lx comp2?

Default Cnc knuckle for lx comp2?

Hope someone can help, Bought part #34001(ofna)and when I put one on the buggy, theres a space about 1/8in give or take between the knuckle and the hex.Do you shim them? Are these the right ones? Thanks

Did the steering knuckle bushing fall out by any chance? That would account for that kind of space between the knuckle and hex.

Yes you bought the right ones and yes they need to be shimmed. The knuckles should have came with 2 shims. Put 1 shim on the end of the universal before you install it into the knuckle this will align the universal so it does'nt pop out and it will remove all of the play in the drive system. Use 1 shim on each knuckle and you should be good to go.

I have an OFNA LX Comp as well and I am looking for these knuckles. Do you have any recommendations for where to get upgraded parts?

after breaking too many of the cheap ***** knuckles, I converted my lx to the C-hub front end out of the mbx comp. parts all fit, (had to make 2 spacers) and it aint broke on me for 3 weeks. (that's a new record)
